Makes: 6 servings
INGREDIENTS:
2 Evergood Bockwurst Sausages, sliced 1/4 inch thick
2 Evergood Smoke Bratwurst Sausages, sliced 1/4 inch thick
8 medium red potatoes
5 strips, bacon
4 t flour
3 t sugar
1 t salt
1 t dry mustard
1/2 t celery seed
2/3 c chicken broth
1/3 c apple cider or white wine vinegar
1/4 c parsley, finely chopped
1 small red onion, sliced
1/2 c celery, sliced
DIRECTIONS:
Boil potatoes until just tender when pierced. Drain, cool and slice.
In a large frying pan, cook the bacon over medium heat. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. Lightly brown sausages on both sides in bacon drippings, then remove and set aside. Add flour, sugar, salt, mustard and celery seed to pan. Cook stirring until mixture is hot and bubbly. Gradually stir in broth and vinegar. Cook stirring constantly until dressing boils and thickens. Gently stir potatoes, bacon, sausages, parsley, onion and celery into dressing, until coated and warmed.
